1. What ingredients do you use?

Because each CuteZee box is a little different, ingredients may vary.  We list the ingredients for each type of product here and keep this page updated as new items are added.  All products are for external use only and adult supervision is recommended.  All ingredients are cosmetic grade and eye shadows are made from eye-safe, cosmetic grade ingredients.  Please reach out if you have any known sensitivities! 

  • Bath Bombs: 

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Zea Mays (Cornstarch), Magnesium Sulfate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Fragrance (Parfum)

  • Bubble Bath:

Ingredients: Water, Decyl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Fragrance (Parfum), Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate

  • Eye Shadow: 

Mica, Sericite, Maranta Arundinacea (Arrowroot) Root Powder, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

2. Do I have to subscribe every month?

Not at all!  You can grab a single box or a monthly subscription- no pressure, just cute, creative fun.

3.  Who tests the CuteZee boxes? 

Before anything makes it into a CuteZee box, it must get the Cousin Crew seal of approval.  Our official testers (ages 5, 7, 8, & 10) help us make sure every item is safe, fun, and worthy of some serious 'girl business.' 

4.  What's the difference between CuteZee & ItZee BitZee?

CuteZee & ItZee BitZee share the same fun, quality, and playful style; the difference is scale and simplicity.

  • CuteZee includes the full experience: local artists, 2-3 handmade by me beauty items,  featured unique resin 'star' of the box, 2-3 supplemental resin 'friends'
  • ItZee BitZee is a smaller, simplified version with fewer items: 2-3 handmade by me beauty items,  featured unique resin 'star' of the box, 2-3 supplemental resin 'friends' This is our attempt at keeping things accessible and affordable. 

Note: CuteZee & ItZee BitZee will come with the same branding, the ItZee BitZee boxes are slightly smaller but otherwise the same.  As a mom of two girls, my hope is this will make it easier to mix and match with siblings or from month to month should you decide to mix it up.  Avoiding meltdowns is key to girl business. 

5.  My order arrived damaged, what should I do? 

Please let us know as soon as possible if anything arrives damaged or if a bottle opens during transit.  Your feedback helps us improve our packaging and your experience! 

Bath bombs are carefully wrapped but due to their handmade and fragile nature, cracking and crumbling can happen.  While this doesn't affect how they work, bath bombs are not eligible for replacement, even if damaged.  The good news is they're still totally usable.  They can be crumbled into the bath as-is or get creative!  We love bath bomb potions; save your bubble bath bottle and pop the crumbs in, add some warm water, and let the magic happen. 

If another item arrives damaged, we'll always do our best to make things right.  Damage claims will be handled on a case by case basis so please reach out with details or photos so we can help! 

6.   How often will items repeat?

CuteZee boxes are full of one-of-a-kind surprises so each box is a little different. Because everything is handmade (by me or our amazing local artists), we can’t guarantee that the exact same item won’t appear again and honestly, sometimes it might!

For example, if January has a flower trinket jar and we run out, February might include a heart jar; your child could even get the same style twice. And that’s okay! Our goal isn’t to create chaos but to make each box fun, unique, and full of magic, just like your kids would love.

I like to think of it as “chaotic creativity.”  Sometimes the same charm shows up twice, sometimes it doesn’t, but every item is unique, fun, and made with love. 

7.  Can I buy individual items from the box?

Reach out!  Depends on availability and capacity but I'm happy to try to accommodate.

8.  What does shipping cost?  I live around Cincinnati, can I arrange pickup? 

Shipping is included on all of our boxes!  If you're local to Cincinnati, please reach out to me to coordinate and use code LOCAL5 at checkout.  

Add-ons purchased without the purchase of a featured box will be charged $5 shipping flat rate unless your order totals $35+.
